About Melinda
Experience the Unforgettable with Melinda Borsuk-Pollard, the North Carolina born hair and makeup artist extraordinaire. Melinda's passion for beauty emerged at a tender age of two at her grandmother's salon where she would convince clients to let her roll their hair. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, in pursuant of her love for theatre. Melinda was offered an internship at American Players Theatre in Spring Green, Wisconsin as a wig and make-up artist.
This internship changed Melinda's life as it merged her two passions: beauty and theatre. Upon completion of her studies Melinda was recruited by Actors Theatre of Louisville as the wig and make-up designer, where she designed and maintained hair and makeup for over 20 shows a season including shows such as Christmas Carol, Dracula, Act a Lady, and The Humana Festival. With a diverse portfolio Melinda was recruited by Cirque Du Soliel to serve as the hair and make-up artist on the Beatles inspired show Love. Love taught Melinda such skills as airbrushing at the same time she completed her cosmetology licensing requirements.
